Historical records sought As we add material to this page on our website, it will be our goal to supply references -- and even content -- of historical items that give interesting and important information about Dr. Whitcomb's ministry, which has spanned more than five decades. Perhaps you have, or know of, some records that you would be willing to share for this purpose. Examples might be old class notes, older recordings, photographs, correspondence of a historical nature, etc. If this is the case, please feel free to contact us here through our website and let us know. Also, be sure to check back here often to see if new information has been added. |

Dr. Whitcomb discusses his years in China Did you know that Dr. Whitcomb spent several formative years in China, that he played with Chinese children, and was immersed in Chinese culture to such an extent that when he came back to the United States the other kids made fun of him for his poor English -- which caused him to suppress his knowledge of Mandarin -- and that for a time he desired to go back to China as a missionary? Hear him tell the story in the sermon entitled, "The Scattered Scattering," which he preached on April 25, 2006. You may listen to this message at http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?sermonID=6120619379. |
