  Mrs. Norma Whitcomb's Bio:

Mrs. Norma A. Whitcomb has shared the Word of God with gatherings of women and children around the world, and is also an accomplished author in her own right. Most noteworthy among her writings is Those Mysterious Dinosaurs, a children's book that has been published in 11 languages.

Dr. and Mrs. Whitcomb were married in January of 1971 after God providentially brought them together in an amazing fashion. Norma had been the wife of Robert Pritchett, with whom she served as a missionary to the Philippines for 11 years. In the fall of 1968, the Pritchetts moved to Winona Lake, Ind., for Robert to pursue his Doctor of Theology degree at Grace Theological Seminary. The couple planned to return to the Philippines and continue their service at the Far Eastern Bible Institute and Seminary.

In April of 1969, however, Robert died of a heart attack while jogging, leaving Norma with two sons. In July of 1970, Dr. Whitcomb's wife, Edisene (Hanson), died of a rare liver disease, leaving him with three sons and a daughter. In 1971 the two surviving spouses formed a blended family that included six children between the ages of 10 and 16. Now there are 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

From their home in Indianapolis, the Whitcombs continue to travel throughout the United States and Canada, ministering the Word of God in conferences, churches and schools. Dr. and Mrs. Whitcomb will greatly appreciate your prayers for them.
