Read Dr. Whitcomb's Monographs – in Spanish!
Dear friends, it is with great delight that we announce a major advance for Whitcomb Ministries in the cause of promoting the gospel and the teaching of God's Word.

A Monthly Monograph from Dr. Whitcomb is now available in Spanish! This exciting development is possible because of the kind and generous help of Dante Rosso, director of the Spanish Translations Ministry in Beverly, Mass. Dante has begun this work by translating the April/May issue of the Monograph, which is now available on our website.

We will be sharing more information both from and about Dante in future editions of the Monograph.

Dr. Whitcomb has long had a burden for Spanish-speaking people, having learned the language himself from his father at a young age. Several of his books have been translated into Spanish as well.

Our website now allows for people to sign up for this new Spanish edition. You can also hear an interview with Dr. Whitcomb about this important ministry at www.sermonaudio.com/whitcomb.

Please tell your Spanish-speaking friends to take advantage of this new opportunity to spread the Word! Also, some of you may have contacts with other Spanish ministries that might be able to help us promote this new endeavor. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you think we can be of service.

In the July issue of the Monograph, we will be taking a break from Dr. Whitcomb’s current series, "Proclaim the Word!", to bring you some important teaching on creationism and the history of the modern creationism movement. We are excited that this type of information will now be available in Spanish as well.

Our prayer is that God will bless this historic new outreach in ways that we cannot even imagine – "exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think." Please pray with us to this end.

Hear Dr. Whitcomb speak this month

Whitcomb Ministries forms partnership with BMH Books
In an effort to give wider promotion to some of the materials available through Whitcomb Ministries, WMI has recently formed a partnership with BMH Books of Winona Lake, IN.

BMH Books will now warehouse, distribute, and market the books and charts authored by Dr. and Mrs. Whitcomb.

BMH Books publisher Terry White said of this agreement, "This is a wonderful opportunity to give wider national exposure to the highly-regarded Whitcomb materials. We are thrilled to be chosen to help extend the fine ministry of the Whitcombs."

Details set for the Third Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries
It is with great satisfaction that Whitcomb Ministries proudly announces that details are all set for the Third Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries on Saturday, Nov. 11.

As in 2005, we will be partnering with Answers in Genesis in bringing this Bible conference to the Greater Milwaukee Area. We are also excited to tell you that Calvary Baptist Church of Menomonee Falls will be our partner – and host – once again.

Calvary did not originally think that they could host this year’s event due to their ongoing building program. However, they have graciously opened their doors and hearts to us once again, and the conference will be held in the facilities of their Main Campus at N84 W16971 Menomonee Ave. Many thanks to Pastor Maxwell and the congregation for all of their efforts.

The theme of this year’s conference is, "A Young Earth: The Christian's Absolute Beginning." The keynote guest speaker will be Carl Kerby, and Sherry Trainer will once again provide special music.

This year’s conference will also be dedicated to the memory of Dr. Henry Morris, whose passing on Feb. 25 of this year marked the end of an era for the modern creationism movement.

Save the date for the Fourth Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries
We know that it is still a way off – but please do not schedule anything for Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007. That will be the date for the Fourth Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries, another major Bible conference to be held in the Greater Milwaukee Area.

The theme for that conference will be, "The Bible: The Christian's Essential Foundation," and our keynote guest speaker will be Dr. Renald Showers, nationally known Bible teacher from the Friends of Israel.

We hope you will plan to be with us. Please watch this space, and our web pages, for much more information.

Catch pearls of wisdom on SermonAudio... From Dr. Whitcomb's Notebook
The response that we are receiving at the Whitcomb Ministries pages on SermonAudio.com continues to grow exponentially. We just recently passed another milestone – 70,000 sermons listened to since broadcasting began there in July of 2003.

All of this is occurring in spite of the fact that there have been some weeks where we have not been able to add new material for broadcast. The reason for this is that sometimes we simply run short of new audio to add.

During our first three years of broadcasting on the web, we have made an effort to get as many of Dr. Whitcomb's sermons online as possible. Thus, sometimes we now are left with periods where there are few recordings to add until Dr. Whitcomb conducts new conferences.

To counteract this problem, we will be introducing a new series on SermonAudio.com whenever we run into these times of shortfall. Paul Scharf, WMI ministry assistant and a student of Dr. Whitcomb’s teachings for the past 12 years, will be filling in the gaps in our broadcast schedule with short sessions entitled, "From Dr. Whitcomb’s Notebook." These messages will bring you a survey of some of Dr. Whitcomb’s teachings, highlighting his wisdom, wit and fascination with the Word of God, as seen from his studies and teaching of Bible books and themes.

These messages are not intended to replace Dr. Whitcomb’s sermons, but will instead seek to shed light on his teaching ministry and whet your appetite for deeper study from his lectures.

Also, in the coming weeks you can look forward to seeing several major new series added on SermonAudio. We will be broadcasting all the messages from both of our previous Days with Whitcomb Ministries, featuring Dr. Whitcomb, Dr. Thomas Ice and Dr. Terry Mortenson. Those of you who did not have the opportunity to attend these sessions in person will now be able to catch up – just in time for the Third Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries on Saturday, Nov. 11.

And speaking of Dr. Ice, we are grateful to the Pre-Trib Research Center for allowing us to share his ten-hour series, "An Introduction and Overview of Bible Prophecy," with you as well.
