A Prelude to Thanksgiving
You are invited to join us on Saturday, Nov. 5, as Answers in Genesis joins Whitcomb Ministries to help you build a Biblical worldview for yourself, your family and your church at the Second Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries. This powerful conference will be entitled, "Creation: The Christian's Vital Heritage."

The theme verse for our conference this year is Psalm 95:6: "O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker." It is not just coincidence that this conference will take place during the early part of November – Thanksgiving month. By studying the truths of Biblical creationism with two of our day’s most articulate speakers on the subject – Dr. John Whitcomb and Dr. Terry Mortenson – we will prepare our hearts to celebrate Thanksgiving this year in all of its fullness.

You see, in the Bible, the truth of creation and the truth of Thanksgiving are always linked together, just as they are positively in our theme verse of Psalm 95:6. The converse of this truth is given in Romans 1:21, where the Apostle Paul shows how the world's pagan cultures always begin to move away from God when men refuse to worship God or give Him thanks. Paul hits this theme again in 2 Timothy 3:2, showing that unthankfulness will be a symptom of the final apostasy that will take hold at the end of the church age.

If your heart is unprepared for Thanksgiving this year, consider coming to Calvary Baptist Church in Menomonee Falls, Wis., this Saturday, Nov. 5, for the Second Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries. You are sure to be blessed by the teaching of Dr. Whitcomb and Dr. Mortenson, the God-honoring music of Sherry Trainer, Elizabeth Pabon and RuthAnn Ledgerwood, the hearty congregational singing, the heaping book tables and exhibits, and the warm fellowship, which will pierce the early November chill and leave you ready to "worship and bow down" this Thanksgiving.

Deceived about dinosaurs?
Frustrated by the flood?
Confused about creation?
Fearful of the future?

Join us on Nov. 5: We will offer Biblical answers that will build your faith and bless your soul – and help you realize all that you have to be thankful for.

Hear Dr. Whitcomb on Crosstalk
Dr. John Whitcomb will be the guest on the Crosstalk radio program on Friday, Nov. 4. Crosstalk is produced in the studios of WVCY in Milwaukee, and is broadcast on the VCY America network and many other stations at 2 & 8 p.m., central time.

To find a station near you where you may hear the broadcast, or to listen over the Internet, visit www.vcyamerica.org.

Dr. Whitcomb will be discussing Biblical creationism, which will be his topic on Saturday at both the Second Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries and the VCY Rally, both in the Greater Milwaukee Area.

Location changed for Second Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the location of the Second Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries has been changed to the Main Campus of Calvary Baptist Church, N84 W16971 Menomonee Ave., in Menomonee Falls, Wis.

The Main Campus is 1.3 miles east of the West Campus on Menomonee Avenue. As you look at the color conference brochure with the map to the church on one of the inside folds, the Main Campus would be to the right of the star marking the West Campus on Menomonee Avenue.

The theme of this year's conference is "Creation: The Christian's Vital Heritage." It will feature the teaching of Dr. John Whitcomb and Dr. Terry Mortenson (speaker and author for Answers in Genesis), and the music of Mrs. Sherry Trainer and Miss Betsy Pabon.

If you would still like to register for this conference, but do not have a brochure, call 920.623.0257, or email conference@whitcombministries.org.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this change in location may cause, and thank Calvary Baptist Church in Menomonee Falls for all that they have done to make this conference possible.

Violinist and harpist to be part of Second Annual Day with WMI
Violinist Elizabeth Pabon, a member of the music faculty at Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wis., and harpist RuthAnn Ledgerwood will add to the worshipful atmosphere of the Second Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries with preludes on the violin and harp before both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Pabon and Ledgerwood will join a team that includes speakers Dr. John Whitcomb and Dr. Terry Mortenson, and vocalist Sherry Trainer, to bring the truth of "Creation: The Christian's Vital Heritage" to the Greater Milwaukee Area.
