Whitcomb Ministries Founder and President John C. Whitcomb, Th.D., is affiliated with a fellowship of churches known as the Conservative Grace Brethren Churches, International.

Through the years, however, Whitcomb Ministries has cooperated with a variety of likeminded church groups that are committed to the fundamentals of the historic Christian faith.

Our fellowship has especially been with churches and Christians that agree with our clear stand on the following keystone issues:

• Biblical Creationism - God created all things in six 24-hour days only slightly more than 6,000 years ago, as Genesis 1 and 2 clearly teach.
• Traditional Dispensationalism - God has separate programs and promises for both Israel and the Church, which will remain distinct even into eternity.
• Premillennial Eschatology - Christ will come back to rule on the throne of David for 1,000 years, fulfilling a wealth of prophecies that predict this reign.
• Pretribulational Rapture - Before that millennial reign, and before the seven years of tribulation that will precede it, Christ will come back in the air to take His bride, the Church, with Him to heaven.
• Presuppositional Apologetics - The Bible is the self-authenticating revelation of God; there is no higher standard against which we may test its truthfulness.
• Literal Interpretation - The hermeneutic that guides our understanding of the entire Bible, yielding the above teachings, is that of literal interpretation based on a historical and grammatical examination of the text.

Even more foundational than any of these beliefs, however, is the simple gospel message: you can have the forgiveness of sins and gain eternal life in heaven by trusting in Jesus Christ, the Son of God who became also man.
